Meet The Team

Coming from an original background in industrial and workshop tool sales, Andy began his journey into haulage with the implementation of A1 Haulage in 1995 and has grown the business year on year ever since.

His hard work and dedication has turned into a thriving family-run business, known for its reliability, reasonable rates, and friendly service.

Richard started driving for A1 three years ago, following a change in career after 44 years as a Car Mechanic and Tyre Fitter. He enjoys caravanning at weekends and has some experience in Banger Racing, too!

His bubbly grandchildren have nicknamed him Grumpy Grandad, but he's a cheerful team member who's never short of a smile or a giggle!

Tanith is the newest member of the team. She is a family orientated individual with interests and hobbies that include writing, art, board games, LARP, and TTRP.

Not only is she beginning her haulage journey with us here at A1, but she has also taken on the task of updating and maintaining our online presence!

Lee joined his father to begin working for the company shortly after his 17th birthday in 2004 and has so far amassed an impressive 18 years of experience.

Whether he is in the office or on the road, the friendly, humorous, and efficient disposition of this delightful and well respected family man is always a sure hit with all our clientele.

Gavin joined the team in 2021. He relishes a very active lifestyle with hobbies such as biking, boxing, running and dancing. As well as enjoying clay shooting, and holidaying abroad.
